Span N-Back ("the App") is a cognitive training application designed to improve working memory through dual n-back exercises. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device:

• Training session data: Your performance metrics, accuracy scores, reaction times, and n-back level progression
• App preferences: Your chosen settings such as audio volume, visual preferences, and difficulty level
• Progress history: Historical data about your training sessions for tracking improvement

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect personal identification information
• We do NOT track your location
• We do NOT use third-party analytics or tracking services
• We do NOT share any data with third parties
• We do NOT upload your data to any servers

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage mechanisms. Your training data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

Data Export

You have full control over your data. The App provides export functionality allowing you to:

• Export your training history in JSON format
• Export your training history in CSV format

This data is yours and you can use it however you wish.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. We do not use:

• Analytics services
• Advertising networks
• Social media trackers
• Cloud storage services

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The App is designed for general audiences and contains no mechanisms for collecting personal data from any user.

Audio Functionality

The App uses your device's audio capabilities to:

• Play audio stimuli during training (letter sounds)
• Provide audio feedback

The App does NOT use your microphone or record any audio.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
